Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal
Assessing property values can be difficult to do without the right computer system and software for organizing important data. Computer assisted mass appraisal also called CAMA is a term used to describe a software package used by government agencies to help establish real estate appraisals for property tax calculations.
Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) is a project composed of several mutual applications that systemically and technically support the execution of evaluation and taxation of real estates. Applications assure effective automated evaluation of real estate entities and their complementary parts. They have an immense impact on saving time and costs by replacing expensive and slow traditional valuation procedures with a stabile and practical system that provides instantaneous information about real estate.
Project CAMA is composed of the following applications:
- Java applications for mass and simultaneous valuation of real-estates from real-estate registry
- Real-estate valuation models - Applications shows data about models, geometric characteristics of valuations zones and insight into valuation procedure for each model. Application is public and can be viewed here.
- Real-estate valuation - Purpose of this application is informative calculation for each real-estate that is stored in real-estate registry. Owner of real-estate can change different parameters of his real-estate to see modified value.
- Calculator of real-estate - User can combine his fictive real-estate from different building types and parcels. For each model he can then assign year of construction, size, land purpose, etc. By doing this he has more detailed knowledge over the real-estate price on certain area.
- Administration interface - With administration interface administrators can edit, add or delete model's data, which are used for real-estate valuation. This enables quick and efficient update of real-estate data.
