The HERCULES project is in full swing
The HERCULES project is in full swing and we continue to develop Knowledge Hub - a repository of spatial data paired with web-based GIS application.
As the project goes on, information and data produced by the various studies and workshops will be uploaded to the Knowledge Hub, where it will be freely accessible to all. Practitioners, policy makers and the general public can contribute their own data, projects, and ideas, which can be then integrated with HERCULES information, with the exciting potential for new and innovative approaches to landscape management.
The "Sustainable Futures for Europe's Heritage in Cultural Landscapes" project (HERCULES) seeks to empower public and private actors to protect and sustainably manage cultural landscapes that possess significant cultural, socio-economic, historical, natural and archaeological value, at a local, national and Pan-European level.
